What happens when a FanClub member cancels his membership? If a FanClub member cancels his membership, his access to your FanClub remains available to him until the next monthly anniversary renewal date. All non-financial benefits of FanClub membership continue until that time. Certain financial benefits cease, such as access to Free Fanclub-member-only live shows, or Fanclub-member-only discounts to live shows. Why? Our testing indicates that otherwise, many FanClub members would join your FanClub and immediately cancel, not to enjoy your FanClub content and get to know you better, but to simply obtain freebies and price discounts underfalse pretenses. back to top |

Under what circumstances does iFriends ever charge a FanClub member for his FC membership? There are only two such circumstances. First, if a "videochat regular"-status FanClub member chooses not to experience your live premium videochat at all during any particular month, his next monthly FanClub membership will renew at the regular price. Second, some FanClub members do not choose the "videochat regular" option, and instead choose the "Reduced Rate" option. These FanClub members enjoy a discounted rate for the life of their FanClub membership and are charged the discounted rate each month for the duration of their membership, regardless of whether or not they occasionally enjoy live videochat sessions with you. back to top |

Is it true that there is no 5% reserve holdback on my FanClub earnings? Yes. Since FanClubs are most appealing to long-time, loyal customers of iFriends and are especially appealing to the "videochat regulars" of iFriends Stars like you, there is less financial
risk associated with these memberships. However, the costs of any refunds and/or chargebacks are still shared with the Chathost, and are deducted from your weekly payment package. back to top |

How does the new FC pricing model work? Let's follow a simple example: If you set your FanClub membership fee at $20 per month, an iFriends member may join your FanClub 100%
free, and experience no credit-card transaction as a result of joining your club. If the FanClub member spends at least $20 with you in live premium videochat at any time during the entire next month, iFriends will waive the customer's FanClub renewal fee as well. (Remember, FanClubs are always free to "videochat regulars"). You, however, get credit for the FanClub membership fee the same day the member joins your FanClub, plus you also get credit for the FanClub renewal on each monthly anniversary date. This means that you always get paid for your active FanClub members, regardless of whether they spend time in live
videochat with you or not.
If you're doing the math, you've probably realized that iFriends has paid you $10 -- your $10 join credit issued on the FC join date. So how does iFriends recover the $10? Easy: If you're "X" dollars ahead of iFriends for a given FanClub member (in this example, $10), the next time the FanClub member spends time in your live
premium videochat, iFriends makes up the difference by collecting 100% of the live videochat fee until the $10 difference is eliminated. On such occasions, your live videochat stats will bear the comment, "FC member for whom Star receives FC proceeds each month, although iFriends did not bill FC member for latest FC membership. Star's share reduced by IF's recovery of any FC membership fee(s) fronted to Star "
Note: If your FanClub member never spends any time with you in live videochat during the entire month after joining your FanClub (likely because the FanClub
itself is sufficiently satisfactory to him), the FanClub membership will renew at $20 at month-end, you collect $10, and iFriends collects $10. back to top |
