- Voyeur View Lockout: Voyeur Viewers can no longer hit reload endlessly to watch your thumbnail for free. Just a few peeks, then they are locked out.
- Cam2Cam privacy: Viewers who engage in "Cam to Cam" with you can no longer see your IP address. Instead, they will see the anonymous string "chathost".
- Boomerang: When guests exit your free guest chat for the membership signup page, at the completion of registration they are linked back to your videochat. Think of it as a "boomerang" feature where you throw the non-member guest to the signup page, and he flies back to you a few moments later, already primed to spend premium time with you!
- Sound alert: When guests enter your free guest chat, you'll hear an audible alert, just like the voyeur-view audible alert.
- IP Identification: A guest chatter's IP now appears in your ifCam display list (designed with a "G" icon). That'll help you identify and keep track of anyone giving you trouble or causing you problems.
- Makeover: Guest chatters see a brand new text-chat interface that dramatically increases customer sign-up conversion (and the more that sign up after chatting with you, the more visits you'll get when they "boomerang" back to your live videochat with their fully validated iFriends account a few moments later)
- Accelerator: The new ifCam supports a faster frame rate across all connection speeds.
- Pesticide: Certain minor security bugs have been eliminated. If you have experienced crashes, program instability, or are concerned about security issues (unauthorized access to your webcam), all identified issues are resolved in ifCam 0.96e.
