I enjoy my time here on ifriends, and I greatly appreciate what ifriends has brought into my life. I've met countless cool people, and have become true friends with more than a few of them. This place is my retreat, my outlet, my secret sanctuary. I'm moving to a new apartment, and my cam, tripod and lights are all packed away. My bedroom looks very empty without my little mirror/window into the internet world and I find myself wondering why it is I enjoy ifriends so much... well here goes....

I've been hosting since I was 18 - GOODNESS! 18! I'm 22 now. Do I feel older? Not really no. My eyes are as bright as ever. Wiser? You bet your ass. That comes with the territory, I think. There are always suprises, obsticles, and even downright dirty tricks to overcome in any business. And while this is a VERY personal business (welcoming complete strangers into your bedroom and then getting as naked as the day you were born takes GUTS!) you have to learn to detatch your personal feelings from your professional feelings - while still keeping in mind that at the end of the day you are accountable to your worst critic, yourself. That is a huge process, one I am still coping with myself.

Anyways! Obviously, I never pictured myself doing this sort of thing. "This sort of thing" is what naughty girls do, naked bodies are shameful, God can see what you're doing at all times, all these thoughts were running through my head - have been running through my head since I first lost my virginity. They've been branded onto my brain from a very young age. But iFriends has really helped me work through a lot of that. Ever since I was a little girl, I've been presented with two ways to view women. As the virgin: pristine, white, graced by God. And as the whore: unclean, sinful, unimportant.
