Dear iFriends: Hi I'm Angie, I have been hosting on iFriends since 1999, I have never been the most popular host and I have never been in the Top 10 chathost category and made tons of money, but I'm fully satisfied with what I have done with my life,
I have been through studios changing screennames every 6 months but up until March 2004, I finally decided to save money and buy all the stuff I needed to host from home, so it's much better! ;)
In 1999, I didn't know what I wanted to do in my life professionally so I started to save money just in case I would find something I would love in school..but instead, I bought my first car! Woohooo, what freedom, could go anywhere at anytime I wanted!!
Well had to save money again... ;) In summer 2002, I made the one and only trip of my life! I went to Norway for a whole month, all by myself. I went there to visit a friend and I will never forget that month! It's been a very great and rewarding experience for me! ;)
So... again, saved and saved... spoiled my family a lot, friends too.
I could really do what I really wanted to do especially with the privilege to set my own schedule! Finally, going to school in September 2003..saved enough to enter into the best Academy of Hair Styling in Quebec! :)
Graduated in July 2004.... And in Fall 2004 bought my first new house and started my own lil' business at home.. my own "Hair Styling Salon!" My life is so great now! I know I wouldn't be able to get all that I have now working my butt off in a normal job!!.. ;)
I accomplished a lot hosting for you, iFriends! Without you, and of course, the support of my fans, I would not be where I am now! Being here made me discover a lot about myself.... *wink*.. I experienced a lot here and now I can say that I really know myself!! I am a very shy girl in life and never thought I would be able to do what I am doing here but I really love that and I hope I'll be able to host for another couple of years.... I guess that when you do something you really like in your life, you can say that your life is a success!!!
